Kaye A. Craft

Executive Coaching, Top Team Work, Leadership Development, Org Development

Rockville, MD

Kaye Craft is an organization development consultant, a master facilitator/trainer, and an executive coach. For each engagement and work assignment, Kaye keeps her eye on each level of system: individual, group, team, and organization, knowing that sustainable change, the best project and business results, and the best work relationships come from the integration and alignment of the work throughout the system.

Kaye’s current work engagements are focused in four areas: building relational cultures; diversity, equity, and inclusion; leadership and team development; and executive development through coaching. Her work engagements have been in a variety of cultural contexts including US, Asia, Africa, Caribbean, and Europe. Some of the organizations that she has worked with are: Air Products, MTV Networks, HealthNet, Annie E. Casey Foundation, Open Society, Viacom, Nickelodeon, US Justice Department, BP, SEIU, John Jay College, National Skills Coalition, and NIH. Also, Kaye founded and maintains her own consulting firm. Prior to starting her own firm, Kaye was employed as an OD Consultant at ExxonMobil Corporation.

In the area of building relational cultures, Kaye’s work focuses on using various forms of engagement and relational practices to build or rebuild connection, relationship, and engagement with and among all stakeholders. Strengthened relationships help build organizational wellbeing and can become a leverage and launching point for advancing strategic priorities. In the area of diversity, equity, and inclusion, Kaye helps clients move from the diversity activity level to the strategic level, ensuring that all diversity activity including workshops and coaching are aligned with broader business and organizational goals. In the area of leadership and team development, a theme that runs through many of the leadership and team experiences that Kaye designs is the accountability of the leader for the work climate, and the work culture, as well as for the work products and business and organization results.

As an executive coach, Kaye works with Mid-level to C-suite leaders. Together they address such topics as: accountability vs. control; creating an inclusive, relational, positive, and achieving climate and culture; leading the new generations of workers; leading, coaching and mentoring across differences. She helps increase the client’s resilience and willingness to change by heightening the client’s strengths and by clarifying their goals for change.

Kaye holds a B.A. from Hampton U, an M.S. from Columbia U, and an M.B.A. from NYU. In addition, she completed the Certificate Program in Organization and Systems Development at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. She now holds the ICF designation of Professional Certified Coach as well as the designation of Board Certified Coach. Kaye received her coaching certification through the Teleos’ Coach Development Program and is thrilled to be one of the faculty for Teleos’ cutting-edge, extremely timely, Coaching and Race Workshop. Kaye is a Certified Wellness Inventory Facilitator; certified in the use of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator; and qualified in the use of the Strength Deployment Inventory and the StrengthsFinder inventory. Kaye is a Past Chair of the Board and a faculty member of NTL Institute, and a member of the National Organization Development Network.
