Carolyn Murphy is an expert in helping leaders discover and ignite their authentic leadership style. She works with leaders at all levels across tech, finance, pharma, biotech, government, and nonprofit organizations.
Throughout her decades of coaching, facilitating, leading teams, teaching, and working as a psychotherapist, Carolyn embraces the “paradoxical theory of change” — which is that transformative and sustainable change occurs when an individual truly becomes what they are, not when they try to become what they are not. She uses a variety of dynamic assessments and customized resources to help each leader understand their authentic talents and realize their highest potential.
Carolyn is a master at creating engaging and highly applicable learning programs that inspire teams across even the most complex systems. She helps teams build a solid foundation of trust and collaborative skills so they can achieve remarkable and sustainable results.
Carolyn has over 25 years of experience working in corporate leadership roles, including as Director of Operations at Cisco Systems. She holds a clinical master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and is certified by the International Coaching Federation. She splits her time between the San Francisco Bay Area and the Sierras and loves hiking with her husband and their dog, Roxy.
