In his role as a consultant and executive coach at Teleos, Paul is responsible for all phases of client key relationships including business development, program design, program delivery, and project oversight. He is also responsible for developing internal strategies and systems that increase Teleos’s capacity to serve its clients and achieve its mission. He has worked with a number of clients including SAP, Viacom, Creative Commons, and Bensalem Township School District; he also oversees a global program for a multinational client in the energy sector.
Prior to joining Teleos, Paul was president of School Performance, a non-profit education reform organization based in Albany, NY. In that role, Paul was instrumental in creating and supporting a network of high-performing schools for more than 3,000 kids from low-income families.
Prior to his work in Albany, was a Senior Manager at K12 Inc., where he drove more than $25 Million in revenue. He was and a Managing Principal Consultant at BroadVision, Inc. where worked with dozens of large systems including Sears, Lloyds TSB, Home Depot, and the U.S. Postal Service. He also was appointed by Governor Pete Wilson to serve as a chief consultant to the California Academic Standards Commission where he was responsible for leading the development of the state’s grade-by-grade Math and Science learning standards.
Paul also had private consulting practice that provided organizational development, business strategy, and executive coaching services. His clients included the University of California, The New York City Charter School Center, The Beginning with Children Foundation, Scholar Academies, Public Prep, Achieve, and The DaVinci Academy.
Paul has an M.S. in Positive Organizational Development and Change from Case Western Reserve University where he earned a Dean’s Academic Achievement Award and membership into Beta Gamma Sigma. He has a B.A. from Gettysburg College, an M.A. from The College of New Jersey.
Paul is a trustee and past president of the Albany Community Charter School. He has been certified by The Hay Group to administer its ESCI 360° assessment and by the Weatherhead School of Management to administer large-scale Appreciative Inquiry interventions. He is currently pursuing ICF certification through the Teleos Coach Development Program.
Paul has a passion for public education reform, loves writing and linguistics, enjoys tennis and cycling, and spends a lot of time laughing with his wife and son.
