Judy Issokson is a senior trainer and organizational effectiveness practitioner who brings over 20 years of industry and technical services experience with small, mid-size, and Fortune 500 companies. Her work experience includes Training and Development roles at Apple, Sun Microsystems, Hewlett-Packard, and Agilent Technologies.

Judy works with leading organizations in multiple industries to improve leadership performance, align people and processes, identify emerging issues, and assess the effectiveness of organizational interventions. At Sun Microsystems, she designed, developed, and implemented a global management development curriculum for first and second level managers. The curriculum was successfully delivered to managers in 35 countries. The program resulted in improved morale, reduced attrition, and an increase in consistent management practices throughout the company.

She works directly with line managers, executive teams, and senior staff facing diverse strategic business challenges such as unprecedented growth, dramatic market shifts, mergers and acquisitions, and developing the next generation of leaders to address these challenges. She possesses the capabilities to readily adapt to the dynamics of the engagement - functioning as trainer, consultant, coach, facilitator, program designer, or advisor.

Judy has worked with internal and external clients who are eager to align organizational structure to emerging business needs, improve global implementations, define improved strategies for effective transitions, and fine tune business integration processes. Clients appreciate her attention to designing actionable solutions and her willingness to adapt to doing business in their terms.

Education

Judy earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Masters in Education from Northeastern University and a BS in English Education from Boston University. She is certified to facilitate Myers-Briggs assessments, Team Management Systems, and Emotional Competency Inventories. She is a board member-at-large of San Diego Organization Development Network, and the Wealth and Legacy Board of Advisors. She is a member of American Psychological Testing (APT and a charter member of STEP, a consortium of education professionals in Fortune 500 companies. She teaches Succession Planning and Career Development in the HR Certification program at UCSD.
