Alberto has 12 years of experience providing both traditional classroom-based training and more experiential type of facilitation, including outdoor training and awareness paths. He conducts programs in leadership, managing people, teambuilding, communications and conflict management, negotiating techniques, creativity and innovation, and stress management.
He is the co-founder of Platypus srl, an Italy-based consultancy specialised in helping people develop self-awareness and personal harmony.
At the beginning of his career, Alberto worked for four years as Project Engineer for Techint, a multinational engineering company with headquarters in Argentina. He then joined a Swedish company named Sandvik. There he worked as Product Manager in Italy and then moved to Singapore as Regional Product Manager with the responsibility of the profitability of the Process Systems Division business area. The markets of responsibility were Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, the Philippines and Vietnam. During this period, he developed his ability to train the people he previously hired.
Following this experience he moved into the consulting arena, working for Mercuri International and then for Newton, where he completed his expertise in training and people development. He worked at UniCredit Bank, based in Bologna, Italy, in the Human Resources Department providing his expertise as assessor and trainer of a large leadership program.
Alberto holds a mechanical engineering degree from The Polytechnic University of Milan. He has also done continuing education at Stanford Business School's Managing Teams for Innovation and Success Program and is certified in the personality indicator assessment, MBTI.
